Personality:
Serenity is a sweet caring girl who loves her family and friends, even if her family is sort of despising her for being a witch, she still loves them, and will the loyal to them no matter what. Serenity is also known to be a people pleaser because she is trying her best to earn that love and trust back from her parents and now she thinks that what she needs to do with everyone else she encounters.

So this girl can be quite meek to an extent. She stands for what she believes in and if someone wants her to do something against it, then no, she won't do what that person asked. Serenity will stand by what she believes in and will try her best not to waver form it, the best way to do so is putting her family or friends on the line. And one thing she won't do is help someone cheat on homework or test, or quizzes. Cheating is cheating and if she helps she is basically doing the same deed.

Besides that Serenity is an amiable girl, she loves meeting people and making new friends. She is known to start a conversation with someone and get to know that person well. Serenity also tries to watch out for her actions, because she is aware of her "low fence syndrome". She doesn't want to lead anyone on by mistake and hurting them in the end. Hurting someone is the last thing she wants to do.

Clothing Choice: Serenity dresses in comfortable clothes that she can move in. She mainly has dresses and skirts, her mum doesn't really like the fact that women are wearing pants so she makes sure that her daughter has a lot of dresses and skirts that she can wear.

History:
Serenity HeeSun Kim was born to a lovely family of three that has now become four. Her brother was actually excited to be an older brother and doted on her a lot. Her parents also took very good care of her obviously. They had high hopes for both of their children, because they want them to succeed in life and have the American Dream that they always wanted.

But on her eleventh birthday Serenity received a strange letter, her parents were very confused as to why there were no stamps on the envelope. Mrs. Kim's English wasn't very good so she had no idea what the envelope said, while her father knew enough to understand how specific the address was. Her father gave the letter to her with shaking hands. She was quite confused as to why they were so afraid. She flipped the letter over and opened it. When she read the letter out loud and translate for her mother everyone was shocked.

Her parents were reluctant to send her to this school, but they also didn't want a "dangerous" witch to be out of hand and untrained. So they both decided to send her to Hogwarts, and to get all her school supplies. Serenity was excited but her parents were not. Her brother was excited for her but was quite jealous that he didn't receive the letter himself. So her brother supports her being a witch but not her parents. Serenity never found out the reason why and she doesn't want to ask.

Throughout her years at Hogwarts her parents never wrote to her. It's as if she didn't exist anymore. So her first year was difficult for her. She tried writing to her brother but it seems that her parents grab the letter first and rip it up before giving it to him. She even started to think that her parents hated her and never wants her home ever again, but her parents always welcomed her with open arms when she comes home for the holidays. They even made up stories about her going to a muggle school when she doesn't.

Besides that she had gotten used to them not writing to her, and she does write to her brother, but it gets sent to another house where she knows he will get it. Serenity does feel bad that she's writing home behind her parents' backs but how else is she going to know what's going on? Serenity tries her best while she's at Hogwarts, even though she knows her parents probably don't really care how well she does, but she tries anyways because Hogwarts is a school after all.

The sound of pages flipping and books replacing themselves on shelves filled Serenity's ears as she is reading away for her Astrology class. She can read that text book all day if she could but she knows that she needs to study on her Potions and how to make sure that the Potion ends up at least being decent when she knows that she can do so much better than how she's doing now. The girl sighed and closed her Astrology book and started digging in her bag for her Potions book.

Serenity brushed the loose strand of hair away from her face as she flipped to the page of the next Potion that she will be making in the next class. It is a complicated Potion and their professor told them to read the procedure ahead of class so they will know what to do. Serenity decides to take out her parchment, quill and ink bottle so she can take some notes on the procedure. Yeah she does a lot just for Potions class.

The sixth year stretched before looking at her notes again. It looks good to her, and she seems satisfied with the little side notes that she has written on the book already. Serenity doesn't really like marking her books but if she has to, then she will do what she needs to do to pass the class or at least pass the assignment for Potions. The professor for Potions seems nice but he clearly does have his favorites, and Serenity is not one of his favorites, even though it's obvious that she is trying her best.

Serenity thinks it's wrong of the professor to have favorites, it makes other students feel that that one student is getting special treatment because he/she is a favorite. Oh well, she'll just have to continue trying and to continue approaching the professor when she needs help. That's probably why nothing she does ever works. Serenity stopped what she was doing and decided to go down to the dungeons to ask the professor on how to improve on her potion making.
