Full Name: Lily Anne Evans; the name Lily is suppose to represent purity, something Lily represents to a T. She's never really done anything against the rules and is quite hesitant to do so. Her middle name, Anne, is supposed to be a representation of an eagle. Lily is a lot like an eagle, with a fiery temper and a controlling personality, she fits the bill perfectly.
Nicknames: Lils, Red, Evans; Lils is a shorter form of her name, and her friends dubbed her Lils when she first met them. Red is of course because of the hair, a bright red. Evans, her last name, is often what James calls her.
Age/Year: Seventh Year
House: Gryffindor
Blood Status: Muggleborn
Wand: willow, 10 1/4, unicorn hair
Alliance: order of the phoenix

Likes: The smell of parchment, snow, charms, potions, seriousness, intelligence, sad books, chocolate frogs, positions of authority.
Dislikes: Cruel jokes, bullying, abuse, hot weather, Herbology, large egos, and people who will not take Death Eaters seriously.
Strengths: Intelligent, hard working, responsible, kind, brave, and able to see the best in people around her.
Weaknesses: Hot temper, a sharp tongue, bossy and too fond of authority, stubborn, and fond of holding everyone up to her high standards of morality.
Amortentia: Lemon Zest, Parchment and a cologne she hasn't been able to identify yet.
Dementor: When Tunie would yell and scream at her.
Boggart: One of her teachers telling her she failed all her end of year exams.
Veritaserum: She secretly respects James Potter
Personality: Lily has been described as vivacious. This tends to go along with a discussion on her red hair, which always tends to bring out the more 'fiery' side of her. She's always been slightly sharp, described as having a tongue like scissors, not afraid to rend into people when she thinks they are doing something stupid - and there is always someone doing something stupid. She also has this bad habit of seeing things in black and white, not necessarily stopping to consider circumstances and effects of actions.
But at the heart of this sometimes annoying attitude is a genuine love for doing something good, and for being important to people. At heart, Lily remains full of duty and full of kindness, the kind of nature that will make her go out of her way to help a first year, and will make her stand up to bullies twice her size for the sake of her friend. However, its also the kind of nature that will make her want to try and get to the heart of the bully's problem. She has been described as full of this uncanny knack to see the best in people - well, most people, at any rate.
There are people against and towards whom she is unflinchingly, stubbornly biased. One of them remains James Potter, another is her sister, though they are at opposite extremes. While almost nothing James can do can endear him to her, almost nothing Petunia will do (and there have been a lot of things, recently, including Vernon Dursley) that can tear her from her place in Lily's heart. In that way, she remains an emotional, impulsive person, even under her calm, mature, and responsible persona.
But perhaps that comes as a surprise only to herself. Her friends and enemies know her as someone who puts all of herself into everything she does and feels. She doesn't hold back on either love or hatred, and therefore ends up forming strong relationships. There are very few people who consider Lily simply an acquaintance, she's far too bright for that, and you have to either love her, or hate her. There's very little middle ground in Lily's life.

Hair color: One of Lily's defining features is her thick, dark red hair, which falls to her shoulders. Once, in her fifth year, in a fit of anger, she chopped it off to her cheekbone, but that remains one of her greatest regrets. Now that its growing out, she prefers to keep it long, and open, unless of course its imperative to keep it tied. She loves her hair, as much as she feels it interferes with her ability to wear pink.
Eye color: People will remember her eyes long after her death, and for good reason. Her eyes are a distinctive shade of green. They are almond-shaped, and seemed to reflect everything that Lily feels or thinks. Lily is quite fond of them.
Facial structure: Lily has a roughly heart-shaped face, with a pronounced nose and high cheekbones.
Body structure: Neither lanky, nor very muscular, Lily is curvy and relatively short. She stands at an impressive 5'3" and weighs exactly 113 pounds.
Clothing Choice: If she's not in her school uniform, Lily is still most comfortable in muggle clothing. She likes simple, flowing dresses, or a pair of jeans with a cute top. There's no denying that she enjoys an occasional chance to dress it up.

History: Before Hogwarts,
Lily had a very happy, normal childhood - showered by love from her sister and her parents, she grew up to be a happy, curious child who won the hearts of almost everyone she met. That was, of course, before she discovered magic - magic that would develop into an almost extraordinary talent in underage magic.
From then on, things started becoming odd - both with Petunia, and with her neighbour and newfound friend, Severus Snape. While Lily initially mistrusted Severus, especially because Petunia so obviously did not care for him, she came to enjoy spending time with him, especially because he was able to teach her more and more about her new talent. And Lily, who had looked up to Petunia as having all the knowledge about everything in the world, had found someone new to transfer all her questions and inquiries on to.
In Hogwarts,
The day the letter arrived was the most magical day of her life. Lily, excited and happy to go to her new school, did not notice the changes at home. She didn't see how Petunia would slink away as soon as Hogwarts was mentioned. Despite her extraordinarily perceptive nature, she didn't notice the fact that her parents were just a little bit uncomfortable with sending their eleven year old daughter to what they were forced to admit was a school that they had never heard about.
A school of magic.
Undoubtedly, it was Severus Snape who helped iron out any concerns that Lily herself might have had. And it was he who was set to be her best friend. That was, she tells herself in the night sometimes, how things were supposed to be. She had tried so hard to defend him when Potter and Black picked on him. From the very first day on the train, she had tried to be there for him. She had tried so hard to be nice, she had tried so hard to be understanding. Sometimes, she still can't believe he called her that horrible word. Can't believe that he didn't deny the fact that he was turning into a death eater.
Then she wakes up, and realizes that this is reality.
A reality where that incorrigible man, James Potter, tends to want to make her days living hell, even as she attempts to balance her school work and her new position, and tries to come to terms with the fact that Hogwarts might be getting over. And to terms with the fact that the wizarding world, as she knows it, might be changing in ways she doesn't understand, and doesn't like. And there is only one person responsible for this.
Lord Voldermort.

Lily was reluctant to go to the valentine's dance. She didn't have a date and nor did she really want one, besides, James was probably going to be there ready and willing to annoy the heck out of her. Not that she minded too much. Of course, it was severely annoying most of the times but sometimes he was nice-ish, to her, but it was his attitude towards others that really made her want nothing to do with him, but she supposed she was sort of used to it now. Dully, sadly used to it.
Another reason not to go was Severus. Lily supposed he might be lurking in the shadows somewhere, ready to apologise to her about what he'd said at the end of last term. Truth was she could have forgiven him if he'd only left his other so called friends behind. They were no good for him and for some unknown reason he just wasn't admitting to it so what else could she do? This was the only way to get it through his head that he was doing wrong. Lily had known Severus for years, she knew he was intelligent but what she just didn't know was why he was getting himself involved in such a dark order, death eaters. It was disgusting and wrong and she had sop hoped that he'd have more common sense than to fall in with that crowd.
And these were just a couple of reasons as to why Lily Evans could be found sitting on a desk in an empty classroom. She was all dressed up, not extremes and noway near as pretty as the other girls she'd seen, but reluctant to go to the dance. She looked to the open door and listened to the sound of music coming from the great hall and knew she'd probably just avoid it, there would always be next year, besides she was a prefect and should probably be patrolling corridors so the others could have a good time, someone needed to uphold responsibility in this place but maybe not straight away, she was going to sit in this classroom, on the first floor near by to the grand staircase and wait just a little longer until hopefully all the couples had arrived and entered the great hall.
