Hogsmeade trips were always fun and Lily had to say she had quite enjoyed her day in the village. It was coming to an end and what better place to be then in the Three Broomsticks? She'd gotten off to a slippery start, met up with her friends and now she was alone, ordering a butterbeer, a sweet, smooth drink that'd keep her warm when she decided to walk back up to the castle in the wind. Not that she didn't like the bitter cold and potential thunderstorms, but a butterbeer was simply irritable right now after a hard day of shopping!
Paying her money to the barmaid and heading over to one of the few empty tables in the pub, Lily sat herself down carefully on a wooden chair that squeaked and placed her butterbeer on the table in front of her. She took a sip and instantly the warmth spread down her throat and into her stomach and from there on the warmth just spread all over her body. The sensation was simply marvellous to the Gryffindor. She should probably buy a case of these and hide them under her bed. Then again the red head sometimes had little self control and knew that they'd probably all go within a week or two. She'd rather just have them for Hogsmeade visits, that way they'd always remind her of the quaint little village.
Placing her drink down on the table once more and removing any froth from her lips with the back of her sleeve, Lily glanced around the pub full of chattering students, locals and Professors. It wasn't just the students that seemed to enjoy the Hogsmeade weekends, the Professors liked to get their fill of relaxation too, Lily supposed they couldn't necessarily leave the castle whenever they wanted due to needing to be around to do patrols, teach lessons and keep an eye on the student population in general. Still, it was good to see the Professors loosening up a little, hopefully they wouldn't be too uptight on Monday, Lily loved school but Monday's was always the worst and tended to mean plenty of homework, hopefully there wouldn't be too much going on after such a peaceful weekend.

Aiden walked out of Zonkos as she put the neatly wrapped package into her bag. Her shopping was complete, and now it was time to warm up inside the Three Broomsticks. The teenager never left Hogsmeade without a good tall glass of butterbeer and the Three Broomsticks had the best there was. She entered and was greeted by the shrunken heads which she ignored as she walked up to the bar and ordered her drink. The Slytherin looked around and her eyes feel on a certain red head – a red head that her brother wouldn’t shut up about. Aiden was often teased that her pureblooded brother liked a muggleborn, Aiden could see both sides of the argument. Though she wanted to stay out of picking sides, she wasn’t a purist. Nor did she care.
Paying for her drink she picked up the mug and walked over to the table where the red head was and sat down in front of her. “Hi.” The brunette said as she picked up her drink. It might be random that she sat down in front of Lily, even weird for a Slytherin to be seen with a Gryiffindor. Aiden was going to pay for this later she knew it, especially if certain individuals were to walk in and see the two. Not that Aiden had a reputation to keep, she had friends were it counted. “I don’t think we were properly introduced. My brother has a habit of talking about you non-stop since like his first year. So I know pretty much everything about you. I am Aiden.” Did she mention she had no problem ratting out her brother to the girl he crushed on for years. “And don’t worry I am not going to hex you. I have more class than other Slytherins. Nor do I care about blood.” Aiden smiled kindly at Lily before taking a drink.

Lily’s eyes widened slightly as some brunette girl, Slytherin from the looks of her robes, sat down across from her, beginning to chat as though they were best friends. Lily’s eyes narrowed slightly as she tilted her head to one side, observing the girl. There was something… almost familiar about the shape of her face and looks in general. She continued to stare at the girl, not really registering anything that was being said before someone that sounded suspiciously like James entered the conversation.
She arched a single brow before speaking. “Sorry, but are you talking about Potter…?” She asked, taking a small sip of butterbeer before continuing on. “It sounds quite a lot like him, so if you are, I’d just like to say that that sounds rather creepy.” Lily stated, smirking slightly. Not that she could really talk. Alice and Marlene had both complained often enough that she herself blathered on something awful when it came to a certain brown haired seeker. However if she had been pressed on the matter, she’d never have admitted it to anyone. Lily had always acted as though she hated James’ guts, (at time she really did), and she wasn’t about to stop now.
Hating, or pretending to hate, James had become such a large part of her life. In her first year, she had really disliked him, and enjoyed the verbal sparring that happened because of it. However, as she grew older, she began to look forward to seeing him in the hallways, or his little flirtatious jokes, not to mention their fights. Oh god, the fights. She’d sit in her dorm room for hours on end trying to come up with possible comebacks for things he might say, or things she could do to make him notice her. For example she’d exchanged her lilac scented perfume for a cinnamon scented one, and had added peppermint oil to her shampoo. God, if anyone every found out, she wasn’t sure what she’d do.
Falling out of her reverie, she tuned back in just in time to hear the last bit of speech the girl was emitting. “So you’re Potters sister?” Lily asked, smiling slightly.
